Coupla things:
IRS has changed the rules about donations. Check w/your tax person.
Our Goddwill had a prob w/returns and changed their rules. People were buyiins so much taking it home and trying to resale on E-Bay,etc. At GW returns are now 7 days and it says it on the receipt.
So many people don't keep or want receipts. Read and keep yours.

Here's my two cents. I've been shopping at the Q for about 30 or more years. Way back when, Yes! Once, I got the letter. I was upset too. Still, if I purchase something that doesn't fit or I don't like it, I send it back. I figure it's cheaper for me to pay the return s&h rather than keep and pay for something I'm not going to use. Just look at it as a reminded to be a little more mindful of your purchases. Their lost as far as I'm concerned. If I don't try it because I'm afraid to try it, then there's absolutely no chance of a sale. Having the thirty day guarantee is one of the reasons that I take the chance buying on line in the first place. I don't usually do business with companies that don't accept returns. That says to me, we have your money, we're keeping it and too bad for you if you're not satisfied! I must say I find some of the comments here a little harsh.
And that's my opinion. 😏

@Group 5 minus 1 A few years ago I did exactly that! I bought a dress from Nord strom in 2 sizes because I kinda fell between the measurements on the size chart. I was so happy to have the choice because it's not easy since I'm a pear shape, to find something that fits top AND bottom.
Anyway, I got busy and forgot to return the larger one. So that store made more $ from me. I should list it for sale on the bay I guess.

@minimalistWF - so, out of ALL the responses here, mine was the most snarky? Yeah, don't think so. I merely stated that she was buying too much and returning too much. Which is actually the case if the OP received a letter to that effect.
Shopping in a B & M store would probably be better suited and cheaper as clothes could be tried on before purchase.
And, FYI, many retail stores have this same procedure for those that constantly return items. Before you ask how I know this, I know people that work retail management and they have told me this.

@agb80 wrote:Quite awhile ago I had purchased a purse from qvc, kinda expensive..a Dooney and it came with no registration card and no dust cover and I could tell that they sent me an as is though I placed an order for a brand new bag. I called c/s and got a male rep who said in a booming voice you were not sent an as is item I can tell by looking at your order. In other words, according to him I could not use that as a reason for returning it but I could return it (at my own peril based on that cycle). So, based on that call I kept it. That was the end of my relationship with qvc. So though the outside of the plastic bag did not say as is, I own 15 of them and know that errors do happen and customers are in fact sent an as is. I didn't like that rep's attitude that they wouldn't consider that purchase as an as is. So crazy. When you don't receive a registration card or a dust cover yes, you were sent a return. Still irritates me.
I hate that, @agb80. Its not right, I think I would have asked to speak with this man's supervisor. This irritates me too.
I would have gone up the chain of command too....an obvious return!

I am one who hasn't found Q sizing charts to be accurate. Recently I purchased A392615. I love the look of this kind of top with a lace layer over the basic top. According to the size chart, I would be between sizes but I felt the XXS would be my best bet.
Well, it's too large! I would exchange it for an XXXS but that size isnt offered in this top. So, I paid $50 for the top and now, because I do really like the look, I'm going to probably pay another $25 to have it altered which will involve altering 2 layers.
This isn't the first time over the years that I've gone by a size chart and been disappointed. It's why I very seldom ever order any article of clothing online. But I loved this style. Ugh.
Anyway, @Luvsmyfam , I sympathize with you. I'm hoping to go shopping in person after I get my second vacc. It's just so much easier when you can try stuff on!

I think some returns are buyers remorse after they get in over their heads and have to scramble to return so they aren't short for the month and then repeat it again. Home shopping can suck you in with the easy pays.

I think you are spot on, it is very easy to just click away, @GenXmuse.
