@new nickname 4   Just letting you know the deer do nibble on the Nanking Cherries.  There are a few things in my yard they don't eat.  Iris..peonies...lilacs..clematis..daisies..phlox...hollyhocks....and they don't seem to eat my roses...DW

@dancingwoman Thank you the reply.  Darn it, they are just so distructive to the plants.. They ate the tops out of two blue spruce.   I've tried soap, hair bags, chicken wire, deer repellant spray.  I guess I'll just be resigned to no trees and shrubs.  I have about an acre yard, and would like to have flowering shrubs and trees but I've seen two deer this year that refused to leave, even after I beat on my house siding, yelled.  Nope nothing.  darn deer.
