That was in the 40's right?  I remember it too and in school practicing by getting under the desk and wearing name tags.  Hopefully this will never happen again here.  So great so see you, in rehab or home?  How are you doing?

@Mominohio  OMG!  Gene Carroll and Polka Varieties! 😂  Goulardi began my love of scary movies. Mr. Jingleling fact - Halle Berry’s mom is from Cleveland. I heard years ago Halle was named after Halle’s Department Store. (Yikes, can’t get the song out of my head now!) And the amazing breads and cakes from Hough Bakery and salt water taffy from Euclid Beach! (I can bring any topic back to food😋) Thanks for the memories!!

Anybody do their hair in spoolies ......and not lets forget Dippity Doo .....

@Big Joanie  OMG! I had really thick hair as a kid (still do today). My mother would dip a comb into the green Dippity Do and comb my hair into place. Then she put a stretch band with a big marble ball on either end into my hair to make a ponytail. At the end of the night, I would take out that ponytail holder and my hair still wouldn't come undone.  Dippity Do had an incredible hold! 😄😄

I'm 64---just FYI---how about------     thongs???  I wore those cheapy things on my feet when I was a kid and they were called thongs----my DD gets so annoyed when I "slip" back to calling flip-flops, thongs......we actually calledthem both names but mostly thongs------
