My Marlyn jeans came today.  The one that is Capri pants.  I sized down to a 0. I'm normally a size 2 in mall stores.  It fit perfectly!  This the 4th NYDJ I've gotten.  I just size down one size and they fit!

I have no idea what my department store size is as I haven't bought clothing in a department store in years.  I do sometimes buy at JJill but their sizing is more like QVCs. 

 

Oddly in NYDJ, I am 2 sizes below my QVC size!

 

I suggest buying 2 sizes to try what fits best as they sell out. I just received mine & they are not too tight on me in person like they are on the models. 

 

I don't consider QVCs & JJill sizing to be "vanity" sizing but realistic sizing for modern women who work out, lift weights, have muscles, have breast & butt implants & are taller & larger than 1920s outdated department store sizing when most women were 5' tall.
