NYC Marathon

Do you think allowing the marathon to go on as scheduled sends a mixed message?

I know it isn't the case but holding the marathon could make it seem like things really aren't as bad as they sound. I think it should have been postponed and I find the mayor's reasons for holding it specious at best. I hope I'm wrong about the impressions.

What is good for the goose today will also be good for the gander tomorrow.
