found dead in his apartment. His parents donated his brain to study the effects of sports related impacts to the brain and spinal cord. Cause of death is still pending.

As some are aware, Pittsburgh Penquin Sidney Crosby has not played since early January due to a severe concussion. He experience a set back a few weeks ago. I really do not think he will be back on the ice.

This is a hard one to call. Hockey is a rough sport. I remember watching games in the 70s when players were not required to wear helmuts and goalies were not required to wear masks. At least that has changed.
