That was so funny!  And where is there an island in NJ?  should be rather easy to figure out where this call came from.

Was the person she said that to named Anthony?

I have about 10 Anthonys in my family and, yes, we're Italian-Americans living in the northeast.  But I promise you I never once spoke to any of them like that!  Woman Surprised  Most of the stereotypes you see on "reality" TV are as accurate a depiction of Italian-Americans as The Olive Garden is of Italian food.  Thanks Jersey Shore!!  Woman Tongue

Wildwood is an island, Cape May is an island, Atlantic City is an island.  Barnagat, Stone Harbor, Avalon -- all islands.

You're absolutely correct!  NJ is nothing like it's depicted on TV and in the movies.

This caller said she lives on an island in South Jersey.  NJ is a very big state, and north & south are very different from each other.  So a lot being said here is a huge stereotype within an incorrect generalization!

Maybe you haven't been here long enough to know what I'm referring to. A few posters understood so it's all good ; )

The woman sounded very strange from the beginning. Unless she was very nervous, which she probably was, she was silent and then sounded confused and then spoke and then stopped...and then WHAMMO!

You can find the video on Facebook on the QVC Addicts, which is a closed group but you may be able to join. You had to read their comments; it was a riot!

Leah was reallly cool about it!

I wasn't responding to you, but actually to AliJoi5.  I was just kind of piggy-backing on her response.

Sorry if that wasn't clear!

I understand the Anthony comment!  Would not put it past Anthony's wife to say that while on a live on air call.

She has said worse, right here on this board.
