[Love my grandkids]

I followed the directions, went to facebook.com and clicked on login. There's a direction to click on "forgot your password" but no such thing appears on my fb home page.

Any ideas? thanks!

If you're logged into your Facebook account, you can change your password from your settings. From there:

1. Click Password
2. Type your current and new password
3. Click Save Changes

Usually, if you want to change a password on assorted websites, you click on the "forgot my password" link. A temporary password will be emailed to you. Using the link in the email, you'll click through to once again access the particular site and enter the temporary password. Then you will have an opportunity to change it to something you prefer. Are you saying Facebook doesn't work like this?

go to the lock symbol in the dark blue section at the top of your facebook page.

left side of screen go to the GENERAL section.

Notice where it says password.

Click on EDIT.

enter current, new, and re-type new.
