@PA Mom-mom,  that's great that you and some others have had good luck with peaches-- but then, you are right in a position to get those yummy "Pennsylvania peaches"...

I love nectarines!  I've been buying them for the past few weeks and they are fabulous, and huge!  I've been cutting them in half because they are so big.  I'll have one half with cottage cheese for breakfast and the other half at lunch.  The dark plums have been good, too.

I much prefer nectarines to peaches. It has been a great season for nectarines...the peaches I have seen have been hard as rocks, then ripen into a pile of mush.

I love nectarines but they run $2.00+ each so I can only splurge once in a while for one. Colorado peaches are luscious and cost less than nectarines so I bought a few of them over the last month.
