It's today.  Never heard of it before, but can get aboard.

If they don't have any during the "snackage" period at church, what to do?  Quick trip to bakery?   German chocolate?  Mmmm, icing a mixed tawny and deep brown sugary deliciousness...

Do they still make "Hostess Cupcakes", ha.

Mmmmm.....you had me at german chocolate and I happen to have plenty of pecans and coconut in the freezer, for the icing!

@Oznell, We have “snackage,” too, but never chocolate cake. Hostess Cupcakes would work for me!

Guess I will have to skip it ... I had the best ever chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting earlier this month - got it for my son’s birthday from a local bakery. And, I gotta tell you  - it was so yummy! Kinda like me loving the taste of a Reese’s peanut butter cup - but 100 times better!! 

Yep, better definitely skip any sweets for awhile ... there was not one crumb left or an inkling of frosting left from that one!! 😂 Soooooooo good!!

When I was a kid Sara Lee had this chocolate cake in a tin. It had thick frosting on it.

It was one of the best chocolate cakes I can remember having.

My sister and I talk about that cake to this day, LOL.
