I can just envision a guy named Connecticut giving his name to someone at the bank (or somewhere else) and the clerk trying to figure out how to spell Connecticut and the guy having to spell it for him-probably would be spelling it for people all his life. Parents need to think hard about naming their children.

@drizzellla - I didn't know this, but I think a lot of celebrities tend to do this. Paris Hilton and her husband named their children Phoenix and London.

The worst I've heard was Gwyneth Paltrow naming her kid Apple.

I live in NJ & never met anyone name Jersey but my father named his dog Hoboken. Many NJ town names are popular first names. Also, names inspired by Jersey Shore & The Sopranos are quite common.
