MyLife - Wrong Information and Resolution

If you ever searched your name and saw a "MyLife" profile that contained inaccurate information, I thought I pass along my experience. I first contacted them by email, which was a waste of time because you are directed to call their Customer Care (which was unsuccessful the first time). A follow-up email told me that this information was public domain and that I sign up as a premium member to control my profile. Finally, I called Customer Care, selected option 5 for "other". I got a representative who told me to give him the URL number on the profile page (do not use your smartphone or it will not show up). Within minutes, he told me to reload the page and it was removed from public view! LadyAlice

One of those sites had me listed as an IT Supervisor for a "big" company. My knowledge of the computer is limited to pushing the "BUY" button on the shopping sites..........................

I was llsted as deceased on Geni for a good year! Eek gads! - when i googled myself one day !! It took a lot of phone calls and emails to finally straighten it out.

This is not a dating site. It is a company that gathers public domain information like your age, etc. and offers to monitor your public profile for a membership fee. LadyAlice
