I hope you let us all know how it works for you and what it's like to wear.  I've never had a wig on but as I get older, I'm considering one in the future.  It's a very cute style.

I'm no longer bald. Some of my hair grew back on it's own but it was very thin. I've lived with the thin hair for about twelve years until I discovered a hair laser device that made most of my hair come back! I now have almost a full head of hair because of the hair laser...it's called I-Grow and looks like a helmet. It's been a blessing to have this in my life. I won't be without it. The Q used to sell them but, no longer. They only have another brand in a comb-style made by Hairmax. I'll warn you, these things are not cheap. @LilacTree

@Greeneyedlady21 I think everyone has his or her idea of what we all look best in.  I've just never cared for (probably) what is the real look.

I like to look like I'd just gotten it dyed.  I think I look natural.  I've had several hair stylists tell me they like my haircut.  When I went to get it colored and before I took off the wig the hairdresser said, "Are you just changing the color of your hair?"  I said, "This is a wig.  My natural hair color is light brown" (the wig is blond).  She laughed and said, "I feel stupid...But it looks so natural on you".  Ha!

I think I have a pretty good attitude about it (no choice).  My hair right in the front is thin.  I call it "a love and hate relationship with the thing".  I'm so conceited, I guess, I feel like I look so much better with it. 

I tell my friends I could never have a lover because I'd be like (when we started 'getting things going" I would be like, "Wait a minute....I have to take off my wig".  He'd probably say, "Is anything else fake".  Ha!  I'd have to say, "Well the teeth are real but most of them are capped so if one falls off, don't swallow it.  They are expensive".  Ha!

I would love to be able to wear cute short styles like that, but I need fullness behind my ears otherwise my head looks enormous.

Tansy, I itch all over every day anyway.  As I said, I won't wear it just around the house, I'll just keep it in my usual ponytail (which I now have to wrap four times around, there is so little hair).  Hard on my hands.

I'm excited . . . but I've ordered wigs before and they were too heavy with hair, so back they went.  They were long though.  I figured if I got a short one, it would be easy for my daughter to trim.  She was an excellent hair stylist, specializing in cutting, all of her working life.  In fact, she used to trim and style wigs for her patrons all the time.

@LilacTreeThe pony tail can be hard on the hair...all the pulling.  And why do something that is hard on your hands?  Also, the weight of your hair isn't helping.  Why not get what you have left cut to a shorter, more easily managed style...for when you're not wearing your wig?

Because that would not help with the baldness on top.  I have about one layer of hair that looks like a man's "comb-over."  I sometimes just pile it all on top and pin it.  That's ok for around the house, but not for going out.
