What is it about boy kitties? I have a 4 y/o gray/white boy named Booker and he is just bad to the bone...always looking for trouble to get into! But he's so sweet and always ready to cuddle, so I can't stay mad at him.

When he's just sitting quietly, we never say he's being "good"--we say he's planning what he can get into next!

Your Puccini (great name!) is a beautifuly boy, jaxs mom!

Booker is a cool name too. I know what you mean about boy kitties as I have two. One of them couldn't plot his way out of a paper bag, but the other one is just like your Booker. When he's quiet and laid back, he's simply plotting his next kitty caper. {#emotions_dlg.lol}

Awwww...thanks, Topaz Gem! My Bridge baby, Charlie, was like yours that couldn't plot his way out of a paper bag. That boy was not the brightest light on the tree, but he was incredibly sweet!

Re: My kitty is up to no good

LOL yes my boys are always planning something. Besides Jax ( who never met a piece of soft plastic that wasn't worthy of chewing on) and Puccini ( who up until now was actually very well behaved) I also Lucky who is the instigator, resident court jester and door dasher. My girls are content to just hang out and get pet.

Too funny...we also call Booker our "resident court jester", his big sister Poppy is definitely the Princess!

Here's a funny one I took of him a few weeks ago. He loves the heated cat bed. You can really see his black smoke coat in this one. He's not even two years old yet, so we'll see how smoky he gets as he ages.

Re: My kitty is up to no good

Our Buddie was a Christmas arrival 3 years ago. We had no desire to add a kitty after Weeble died, but after a year, we decided to respond to my lifelong dream of adding an orange Tabby to the menagerie. Why an orange Tabby? Because I had never known an orange Tabby who wasn't mellow, graceful, sweet, and thoughtful. That is, until Buddie!!!! Named for his extraordinary resemblence to Will Farrell in the movie "Elf", our Buddie is a nonstop nosy, talky, rambunctious, annoying, adorable mess of catattributes all rolled up in one. His favorite playtime for TWO YEARS was 2am. Now he is an equal opportunity annoyer, doing wellness checks on DH and I by pressing a cold wet nose into our faces to see if we jump, always before the sun comes up. Several favorite sleeping places, all completely inconvenient and without the slightest attention to where human feet will come next. Always ready to launch into the forbidden living room when the door is quietly opened by his unsuspecting humans. All cat, all bad, all adorable.

Re: My kitty is up to no good

Lol, Jaxs, that is how my boy sleeps too. He doesn't have a pet bed like that, but when he sleeps on the couch or my bed, I often find him on his back with both arms stretched out. I think he would prefer if I slept in a small pet bed, and he take the big human bed for himself, lol. Sometimes during the night I can feel him pushing with his feet against my back, I guess stretching as he sleeps. It sort of feels like he's trying to push me out of the bed, lol. Hmmmmm, maybe he is???

LOL I hear that. Sometimes I wake up to find I'm on the edge of the bed and Lucky is laying smack dab in the middle of it.
