Re: My fitted bed sheet just ripped.........

try bed, bath beyond (and I think Kmart might have them too )

they sell individual sheets, I had the same thing happen to me and I found a close match in color.

whose idea is it to only sell sets of sheets?

Send it to me.

I will make some curtains and matching sheets for my dollhouse.

As others have said, buy a fitted sheet in a coordinating color. It will be like having a new set!

Or donate them. Pet shelters have been mentioned, but crisis shelters for abused women and children could use them as well.

I'm not matchy and I would use them but if you don't want to do that and if you garden, I would cut them in strips to tie up tomato plants, or use as drop cloths when painting as someone else suggested.

Re: My fitted bed sheet just ripped.........

I've had the fitted sheets in two of my sets wear out. I replaced them coordinating solid colors.

The fitted one is always the one that wears out for us too. I use my pillow cases as rags when they get dingy. I replace pillow cases pretty often.

Now I'm wondering what to do with my flat sheet and four pillow cases. I can no longer get the same sheets, and of course I want my sheets and pillow cases to match. It seems so wasteful to throw away the flat sheets and pillow cases.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

When I use to sleep in a bed, and as me being a male, the color of a sheet nobody but myself would see? Mix and match was my way and were I still able to sleep in a bed it would be no different.

Guys aren't usually into matching things, even things people see, but I am just speaking for myself now.
