My first ever bad experience with QVC shipping

I have been a QVC shopper for about 20 years and never had any problems with shipping until now. I know a lot of people on this forum have complained and I understand the frustration but now I understand even more since it's happened to me. I ordered cupcakes on 7/3 with 2 day shipping via UPS because they are perishables. Shipping email said they were sent on 7/6 with delivery 7/8. There has been no update on tracking and no cupcakes received. I was on CS chat hold for 30 minutes last night and was customer #75 waiting. Finally got thru, given choice of resending or cancel order so I chose to cancel because there is no guarentee they will get here. Very dissapointed and won't order anything else for a while. I am sure the pandemic is the cause. I feel for the workers that are really trying to get stuff shipped on time. Just venting

I have a Denim and Co. top that supposedly shipped on July 7.  But there is no tracking whatsoever.  How can that be?  At least you got the cancel your cupcake order, so that is good.

Re: My first ever bad experience with QVC shipping

I have an order that's been "accepted at" my local post office since mid last week.  Never moves to Out for Delivery.  Shipping is really a mess these days, no matter who the carrier is, it seems.

Re: My first ever bad experience with QVC shipping

I have the same issue. My package was shipped using UPS mail innovations. The package was sent from VA and then to Bensenville, IL were it has been since 7/2. It has been "accepted" by the USPS but USPS has told me they have not redceived it so it is sitting somewhere in IL since 7/2. I emailed QVC today and they gave me a refund since the product is no longer available.

@Krimpette   Go to the USPS website and complete the form for missing package.  Every time I've done this, the PKG has magically appeared in a few days.  Yesterday a postal employee made a special trip just to deliver a PKG that sat in the Phoenix post office for 11 days that I complained about.

Re: My first ever bad experience with QVC shipping

It's not just QVC.  I had a UPS 2nd Day delivery of perishables scheduled for last week.  I kept getting updates that it was being delayed.  The final update had it delayed for one full week.  There was no way my items would still be viable.

Luckily I was able to contact the seller in time for them to request UPS to return that shipment to them.  I just received a replacement order this morning sent Next Day delivery.

Delivery services are a mess.

Re: My first ever bad experience with QVC shipping

@Krimpette, I also have an order that was stated accepted at P.O. June 16. in my town. Finally left a note for mail carrier. Mail carrier said they did not receive pkg. Well, if it states on order page "ACCEPTED" at P. O. in my town where is pkg?. This is not the fault of QVC . I think P.O. is overwhelmed a nd pkgs just stacking up.Very discouraging. Never posts "OUT FOR DELIVERY' Just States "ACCEPTED on June 17 at 13:15."  I wish the Q would let us choose, For extra fee, UPS. Never a problem receiving power bills cable  etc.LOL

Re: My first ever bad experience with QVC shipping

I had a similar experience a few weeks ago although my item was not perishable. I ordered the Laura Geller Eyeshadow Sticks on June 23. They shipped on June 29 and there was absolutely no further information until July 6. I was beginning to think my order got lost. Then by slow boat they arrived on July 13. Not sure if it was QVC' fault or the Postal Service. Usually I never have a problem with my orders. In the meantime I ordered something from Josie Maran in between all of this waiting perod and received that in about 4 days.

@Goodie2shoes Just curious. Since this was your "first ever bad experience with QVC shipping" for about 20 years, have you also started postivie threads about all your good experiences in that same number of years? Heart
