My cat is throwing up.....any thoughts?

I have a 10 year old cat who has aways had what I call a sensitive stomach as she has always had the problem of throwing up ever one in awhile. I've taken her to the vet and he has told me that some cats are like that. But lately she is throwing up a lot. One morning last week when I got up in the morning she had thrown up 6 times. Today it has been 3. I've made an appointment for her but can't get in until Monday. Does anyone have any suggestions?
