WOW. I'm registered on many, many sites and online accounts just about everywhere but this one really surprised me. Registered for MyUPS this a.m. since I needed to change delivery of a shipment that is scheduled to arrive by end of business on day we are leaving to take DD to college so wanted to change it to I will pick up at facility myself.

When I went to enter my name and birthdate . . . to verify I was who I said I was to allow me to change shipments to myself it came up with THREE questions in a matter of seconds . . .

first was had I received packages/mail at one of about 5 addresses below, 4 I'd never heard of but one was a place I had lived 20 years ago and 3 addresses ago

second was the name of my youngest brother . . . I think it either asked Is ____ ____ a relative or your brother . . . .

third was are of the following vehicle makes registered to your address _____ ______ and then listed about five vehicle make/models and of course one was one of our several vehicles.

Surprised me that UPS could come up with the correct answers to all three questions among the multiple choices given for each question in about 5 seconds based upon my first and last name (married name not maiden) and my birth day/month/year.

I could almost see it IF it were the State or Federal government but a private company knowing that much about me seems a little bit much.

Anyone else ever set up an account or register with a site that knew details and two decades old details about your life?
