My Sophie turns One tomorrow

My baby puppy Sophie will turn 1 tomorrow. I can't believe it has been 10 months since we got her. She is a labradoodle puppy. My husband and I are retired and this was our first dog. Alot of people told us not to do it. We are cat people, but we still thought now that we have the time, we would be OK parents for a dog. It has been a very easy period for all of us. She is smart and wants to please. Thanks to everyone here who told me to go ahead, that we could do it. We love her so and now can't imagine life without a dog.
