My Son Got Engaged Today

......to a very lovely young lady. I'm so happy for both of them!!!!

He came over last nite and showed me the ring.....spoke to her dad earlier today and then asked her to marry him.

And....

I'm going to be a grandma....His fiance has a 15 month old, beautiful son!!! They will make a lovely family.

It brings me so much joy to see him interact with the baby...it comes so natural to him...he was always good with little ones.

As happy as I am for him, there's a part of me that feels some sadness........is that weird?
