"Observing the six cats who grace my life is a study of truth in motion. They display no false emotion, make no excuses, nor do they live for the sake of another. Their every action is simply and assuredly their own. They are a gracious example to me in my own journey of striving for that state of "natural trueness" that they so effortlessly demonstrate.

That journey has been difficult, but the end result has affirmed my belief in the power of being true to myself. Its incorporation into my daily life has taken form from the lessons presented to me throughout my life, all the while watching the practical application of it in my six cats."

I wrote this piece about 15 years ago and found it today. It reminded me that things we strive so hard to do in our daily lives can actually be so simple to achieve and that our furbabies are living proof of it. I just wanted to share with all of you today...the last few days have been rough and I know I needed a reminder... and found it sitting on my lap purring.

Love you all.
