I've been thinking about this over and over again and I have finally come to a decision. My New Years resolution is to cut way back on my QVC/HSN  shopping!  Woman LOL   I counted 41 tops and 31 pairs of pants all bought from QVC and HSN  over the last 1 1/2 yrs !   I have many tops not even worn yet (bought months ago) and the same with a few pairs of pants.  So I have 3 more days to shop then my resolution goes into effect.  Anyone else make a new resolution for 2023 ?  Woman LOL

@Goodie2shoes    I'm with you on that.  I have so many clothes, I've run out of places to put them in my 3 bedroom house.

@Goodie2shoes and @Kachina... I agree with both of you!! I have so many clothes...especially tops...that l haven't worn yet and I've been retired for years!!! I buy other things that are not clothing...like Christmas gifts, etc. I live in Buffalo, NY and I didn't have a Christmas this year because of our horrible blizzard!! No...more...shopping!!!

I retired in 2016 and with the pandemic I stayed in most of the time, even watched my church service online but I continued buying mainly fashion items from QVC/HSN.  I have double hangers made to hang more than one item together so I have 2 tops on one hanger otherwise I would not have room in my closet

My closets are full in both bedrooms !  I just purhased the TSV boxes so I can store some items ! Woman Happy  Stay safe and warm there in  Buffalo !!, the pictures of your city on the news from that blizzard are just mind blowing !!

Grew up in a Buffalo suburb and left after the Blizzard of '77.  I have two sisters that live in Hamburg.   Both moved away and then moved back when the folks got frail.   Stay warm!

@Goodie2shoes ... I'm unable to heart posts (or make paragraphs or make the font larger!) so l wanted to tell you thank you for your post! I retired in 2003 so why am l still buying tops?!?! Lol... I have 3 bedrooms and they're all filled ...but one is filled with my nightgowns and bathrobes!! --- Yes! I'm staying safe and warm thank you! It's been a very scary time for all of us. We are used to snow but not this intensity!!! Today was the first day someone shoveled some for me so l can get out tomorrow!--- Hmmm... What top and cardigan can l wear tomorrow--- Right now I have on a Stan Herman long sleeve warm, but not flannel, nightgown. I've bought a lot of nightgowns and bathrobes from the Q that l love! In fact they take up one whole closet, as l mentioned, because l wear them all day at home...especially in the winter! I have a few sets of the boxes you mentioned so one of my resolutions is to start filling those up with Spring and Summer clothing!

@Tinkrbl44 ... Thank you! I read West Hamburg got the most snow from their first snowstorm about a month ago...something like 82 inches! Wow! I can't imagine that much from one snowstorm!! Hope your sisters are okay now! I've lived here about 5 years but grew up in a town south of Hamburg. We always had a ton of snow! ( l did move to another part of the state for over 45 years then moved back. Why??? Ha!! ) Where l am now in a suburb north of Buffalo we don't see a lot of really big snowstorms so this blizzard hit us really hard. Thanks again!

Nope! Live the best life I am able each day/week/month and year. Been like that for a whole lot of decades now.

As for buying? If I or We don't need it? Ain't no way I am buying it. Always bought pretty much things that actually do something, or have an actual purpose.  Things that cover my body or adorn it? At the bottom of my "to buy" list.

Now my wife?
