is one week old today. We are hoping to go down to see her in about 4 wks at the breeder's. She was the runt of the litter and first born. She is a black schnauzer. My last one was salt and pepper and I didn't want to be comparing them so hence black. The litter was 7, 3 girls and 4 boys. Finally decided on a name, Kira. I hope she is will beable to leave her Mama so we can bring her home at 8 wks. but will abide by the breeder's decision. She doesn't doc the ears which made me very happy, it is very painful for the dog. I'll love her floppy ears.

I now can shop for her crate, playpen, bed, etc. I've saved for a while for this and won't have to use a credit card which is great. I'll have to find a good vet.

I wanted to share my joy with all of you pet lovers. It's been 20 yrs. since we put down our Mandy, it's time. My Mom passed away a month before Mandy so it was just too hard to make a quick decision. Thanks for letting me share. Barb
