@Shelbella262 I cried when I read your post.  It hurts so much to lose them.

@Kachina624  I remember your kindness when I said goodbye to my Daisy last April.  You were in such pain at the same time. I'm still crying for her, miss her every single day almost a year later.

My heart aches for you.  I lost my Molly 9 1/2, last month.  She was fine and happy one minute and then she collapsed on the flloor and was gone.  Our furbabbies are everything to us, they are our hearts.  I had to put my first dog down years ago and I still cry,  But know that you loved your sweet dog, gave him the best life and he knew he had all the care and love in the world.  But you cannot let an animal suffer with no hope.  He is in doggie heaven now, probably playing with my Molly and all the other sweet animals who crossed the rainbow bridge.  It will take a lot of time, but know we are all here for you if you just need to talk.

I feel so sorry for the loss you are feeling.  We lost our precious golden boy last May and this is still so painful.  I try to remember all the wonderful, cute, crazy moments with him.  We talk about him daily.  The pain is still very raw.  He had excellent care but the vet could not save him after weeks of trying.  At 10 years of age and no clear path of good health forward we gave him peace.  It is hard and many of us understand.  We stand with you on this difficult time.

I'm so sorry to read this post as I love all dogs but Dobermans have a special spot in my heart. It's very painful to find our loved ones are ill to an extent that it is too late for us to stop their illnesses as dogs hide their pain for such long periods. Know that you did everything you could and gave Kino the best life he could have imagined, full of love and care. IMG_4168.jpeg

Im so sorry to hear... The grief is so awful- I just went through it a few months ago, and honestly, I still cry whenever I think of my Skye.
They are more a part of our lives than most human beings...

The only thing that helped me was getting another dog- Wishing you peace.

Sincere sympathy for you as you adjust to your loss of Kino.  It was a brave decision to make, knowing you had to face heartbreak to protect Kino from suffering any further. You saw your responsibility through with great pain  buffered by your love for your good boy.

I hope you and your husband can feel better soon and enjoy good memories of your dog without being overwhelmed. It will take time. Keeping you in my thoughts.

I am so sorry about the loss of Kino.  Having to make the decision to let our pets go, is so hard. But it is the right decision for them.  I hope wonderful memories of your sweet Kino eventually make you smile.  Right now, though, take care of yourself.  You took away his suffering, leaving yourself in pain.
