OK, a bit dramatic I know, but here's what happened. OK, so my friend/handiguy came over to help me (well, put up) on the wall a TV I bought for the bedroom! I ended up getting a 32 inch (Hey! Good deal at Costco). I have a TV in my sewing room that is on the wall (you know like in Hospitals where they swing everywhere in and out/up and down?) So I wanted on in my bedroom. Well, when my guy went to lift that huge plastic tub of (all QVC and HSN beauty, hair, you name it! products, he let out a yell I heard from outside! The poor guy said he thinks he pulled something! He said, "Do you use all of this?" I said, "Ummmm no". He knew my late husband, so he said, "I know Bill would not have LET you have all of this stuff in this tub sitting here"! I almost choaked on the word LET! I knew what he meant. Long story, short. I ended up bartering with him. You ladies know how I'm always saying I sound like Shannon (over on HSN) how she always says she has at least one of something? Well, I really do. So, I sent him home with some Wen, some Joy Mangano hangers, some of Dennis whats-his-face stuff (the jungle guy), some face stuff I bought from QVC late one night when Tova was on, and a few other things. Oh! I also gave him a printer/fax machine. That I bought several over and over from HSN because they'd have free shipping and the cost was $78. The printer cartridges are that much. So I just bought more printers when the ink ran out! He was happy and I was real happy because I got rid of some of my ummm stuff (not junk, stuff). And I didn't have to pay him. I'm starting a new program where I will get things done and barter some of these beauty products for labor. Think it would work? I need a new driveway paved. I wonder if someone would take the whole plastic tub for a new driveway. What's that? You telling me people wouldn't jump at the chance to get free Wen, free Mally, free Laura, and so on? OK, I guess you're right. It was a one time deal. He's coming back tomorrow to clean the garage so I can park my car in it. I wonder what stuff I can send him home with? I forgot to say I gave him one (I have two) of those QVC water fountains (electric) that have the maiden and the water spews out! Good deal? Think?
