I love Ringo and he has always been my favorite Beatle.  I saw them in concert when I was in high school, and I've seen him and his All Starr Band twice in concert.  Congratulations to Ringo.

@Jordan2  IMO Paul is more of a genius for his songwriting.  Ringo is a great drummer, but has not contributed as much as Paul and John L. to the group.

In the Yahoo article I read about this with the photos (loved the photos!)  Ringo said he had dinner with Paul a week ago and they were both laughing about their backgrounds in Liverpool and then going to "the palace" to be knighted.  Who'd have ever thought?

Gosh, I would have loved to have been at dinner with those two, laughing about their backgrounds and how far they had come.

I know so cool! I saw the video of him getting Knighted on Facebook. Love Ringo (saw him 1 & 1/2 years ago with DH and my oldest granddaughter who loves him too). Also love Paul of course and well, all the Beatles since 1964!
