I don't have a ton of doctors, but each one I have is in a different medical network and they each have their own portal.  I am signed up for them, but only access them if I get sn email telling me there is a message for me in the portal.

I have MyChart. Like it a lot. GREAT communication there in every way.

When you pick your user name be sure to like it! That cannot be changed!

Questions answered, easy online check-in BEFORE you get to the office -- so no balancing a clipboard and writing when you are waiting for your appointment.

TEST RESULTS ARE POSTED QUICKLY! I so appreciate that.

The Cleveland Clinic uses My Chart. Recently they announced that a doctor might start charging if he has to use his time to reply to a question, just as if you saw him at his office. Not a fan.

Every dr I have seen uses a different one; MyHealth, Healow, Heal, Freesia, etc. I have never refused to use one, I just don't bother with them any longer since they are almost never updated frequently. One of them has never connected with my ENT's office...only with an orthopedic clinic fifty miles away that I have never heard of.  I told the person at the front desk when I was there the last time that I could not access my info on the site and she looked at me like I had two heads.  I got my bloodwork results posted a month after it was done...not a fan of these portals, and I do know how to navigate them, just don't like my time wasted to connect and find my info not there or no updated info.
