Wondering if anyone else watches this show on Animal Planet.

I like the show, but has anyone else wondered why they show people handling cats that lash out at them???

I am a long-time cat person, and would not pick up a cat that scratched me or bit me. I have 7 cats now, so I think that qualifies me!!!

For example, we have a stray that we took in. She is a little on the "rough" side, to say the least. I never touched her for months, except for medical care. I just talked to her, looked at her, said her name to her, but no touching until later. Now, she lays all over me, and purrs when I come in to the room. That's just one example.

It seems some people on that show don't know cats!
