Has anyone attended this annual music festival? I jsut got a ticket for a show this week and was thinking of stayng overnight, can you suggest a hotel that's either a walkable distance. Or has shuttles to the festival? Their website is overhwleming!

I would suggest calling each of the hotels they list on the page as places to stay.
I do know that the Sands is the closest in distance, it might also be the most expensive. That hotel is about 1/2mile away.
I would call the various local hotels (listed on the website under http://www.musikfest.org/info/where-to-stay/) to see if they have shuttles.
Have fun!

Thanks! I considered splurging with the Sands- but it's booked!

You can call the Hotel Bethlehem. It's right on Main Street Bethlehem. From there you can walk to the Southside or take a shuttle. Main street is next to the heart of where Musikfest started. Locals will stay at the Hotel B. It's all about the type of atmosphere you want. You want brand new casino style, the Sands. Historic is on the north side. Enjoy your time.

Thanks all! I did a 'google map' of the Steel Stacks area and was able to pinpoint hotels closest to the event. WIth the potential parking issues I figure I'll be getting in lots of steps with my fitbit!! I'm all set now, it should be fun!
Any suggestions of what are 'musts' while in the area?

I live 45 minutes from there, never go but would like to. My brother (who lives elsewhere) goes every year and says its amazing. I hope you enjoy!

It was such fun!!! I live about an hour away (in NJ), and it was always one of those things I wanted to do. With Don Henley performing this year, I didn't care if it was going to be 95 degrees and humid as anything, I was there! Don was terrific- very personable with the crowd. I never saw him solo before- with the Eagles, Glenn was generally the frontman. I stayed by the Steel Stacks area Wednesdy and saw about 5 or 6 other groups perform, My hotel shuttled guests back and forth - I didn't have to wait eons for Uber, that was a plus! And then on Thursday I went to the Main St area of Bethlehem for all the other festivities. I probably went to 10 or 15 shows- finding the various stages wasn't super clear on the Musikfest guide. For a newbie anyway! I know better for next time. And there will be a next time!!
