Sweetie bear, what is the name of the hotel that used to be the Prince at Makenna Beach?

That's the one at the end of Wailea right before Makena, right? Locals call it The Last Resort, lol. Gorgeous beach. I know it closed but don't know if it has reopened or under what name. I know The Renaissance is now Andaz but I can't keep up with all the changes, especially in So Maui. Sorry. I've never stayed in any of them. I have a little more experience with West Maui Hotels.

Edited to add after a Google Search - I found Makena Beach & Golf Resort listed as formerly Maui Prince. Looks like good reviews.

Thank you so much.

All I knew is that it had closed, but I didnt know if anyone had reopened it. We have stayed there and at Kapalua and were contemplating a trip this winter. We loved the Prince as it was quiet and away from all the hustle and bustle. Mahalo, for the help!

You're welcome. Opposite tips of the island. Both beautiful although Kapalua can be quite a bit more rainy during the winter rainy season. Wailea/Makena usually only gets rain from the rarer Kona storms coming up from the south toward the Big Island.
