I wish it would stay the way it is now. Otherwise it gets dark by about 4:30 in the afternoon!

I do hate it when we ""spring forward"" though. Just keep it the same all year long.

This would be such a dream come true. I even plan a special dinner and dessert on the nights we go back to Standard Time. Mini holiday!! I hate daylight savings time.

Just curious. What is it that people prefer about standard time?

That's what I'd like to know too. I much prefer Daylight Savings Time which gives us more daylight here in the Northeast.

Ahhh. That makes sense. Regional.

DH and I have always felt that daylight savings time is backwards. Should have daylight savings in the winter when it gets dark so early and standard time in the summer when it stays light anyway.

When I lived in Az, we didn't participate. Now where I live, it gets light at 430 am and dark at 10-1030 pm in summer. In winter, light at 8am and dark at 4-430 pm. I'm used to it, but I guess I wouldn't mind if it stayed the same all year long. Adjusting to.the early dark.is a bummer.

I love when the clocks get moved forward and we have the longer daylight hours. I detest when the clocks get moved back and it's dark when I get out of work.
