Move along...nothing to see here.

Now in week two of awaiting my perishable shipment, I sent this status tracking in an email to the Q, only to be told that my shipment would probably show up...

So, it was out for delivery (in the midle of the night) and then, two days later, transferred to the post office?  Believe me when I tell you the Q rep could not have cared less.

Happened to me with a Junior Cheesecake. All they said was not sure where it is. Never again.

It Isn't QVC's fault anymore. They sent it and its out of their hands. Now it UPS's issue, contact them.

@garl

Looks to me like there are going to be real problems with delivery of perishable items this year.

All of  the bantering back and forth, over and under that new mail systems now use (why?).

@ID2IMO it IS the shipper's (QVC) fault.  They are responsible for making sure the item gets to you.  I recently had an issue with a product ordered from Amazon.  It was supposed to be here 10 days ago.  I called Amazon, they contacted the post office who was responsible for the final delivery, and gave me a new delivery date.  That date passed.  Called Amazon again.  Quickly refunded my payment.  Excellent service.

Re: Move along...nothing to see here.

This is my issue:  When the hosts GUARANTEE that something will be there in time for the weekend, or holiday, or Christmas, etc.  There are weather and delivery issues out there folks!  But when they GUARANTEE something, it is strictly to make the sale, and "tough cookies" to you the customer.  Watch...they will be using that GUARANTEE until the 20th of December.

Some people on these boards say we need to use our common sense, but so does QVC!

Re: Move along...nothing to see here.

Keep in mind thst Q CSRs do not have crystal balls to tell them where you package is.  They see the same tracking you see.  Shipping is always a mess this time of year and everyone involved with it is working hard to get your orders to you.  Some won't make it for whatever reason.  Refunds and apologies will be issued.

Re: Move along...nothing to see here.

I have the worst luck with packages that go UPS and then are sent to the post office.

Numerous things have been lost throughout the year going this method.

Whenever I see this in the tracking, I know there is a 50/50 shot it will ever arrive.

Ok, bad.  To be realistic, this isn't a QVC problem.  It's a UPS problem.  If it's ruined when you get it, you can call QVC and get a refund.  They can certain see that thing went from pillar to post before it got to you.
