Any suggestions on how to get rid of mice ???  Thinks.

Get a cat.

Make sure all screens are repaired and all openings in foundation and around windows are sealed. If you have central A/C make sure that the electric line which is usually covered by a gutter downspout is sealed off on the bottom with foam insulation-- spray on works well and hardens up. If left opened, the mice can climb up into the attic areas.

Mouse traps are the best and placed along the walls (mice usually travel along the walls) Peanut butter works best as a bait (not cheese).

Some have had good luck with spearmint oil on cotton balls-- they might dislike that scent. Make sure that drainage pipes are sealed with steel wool (again keeps them from climbing the pipes to seek warmer areas of your home).

Some have luck with cats or rodent seeking breeds of dogs too.

we have a reliable pest control company who comes in once a month. that helps A LOT! we found a dead one near one of our sump pumps in the basement recently. the pump is quite dry right now and he said they are probably coming through the pipes and then up on the lines.
