Hey girlie, I didn't read through all the posts but I love posting with you and no worries about anything.
Next time I mix up a pitcher for our Saturday night parties, I'll make a non alcoholic one too.
Keep dancing!

Jesus loves you and through Him you are able to stay sober. I just wish you knew His name. It is not higher power. You are blessed and highly favored. Jesus didn't come to save perfect people but those in need.

If you can handle me (another "different" & 'irregular' person, heh) - continuing to post with you, then God bless us both.
Such a beautiful thread from such a beautiful soul...
I agree feline! Sylvia, you'll be just fine and dandy with this group of crazies. We're like your perfect family. Each of us "irregular" in our own loving way.

Amen! Addictions are an ever-increasing problem in society. I give thanks for AA and other beneficial orgs.
Blessings to you on your continued journey onward -- and upward, Sylvia!

My loved one tried and tried again to get sober but was never able to. The disease of alcoholism is tough to defeat. That's why your courage and ability to share your story here is so important to so many of us. Thank you...))))))). j

Sylvia, my Dad joined AA when I was about fourteen years old, so I am familiar with it also. My DH and I used to drink wine and champagne a lot, but I got scared I was going to become an alcoholic and we both quit. I am so proud of your courage here, always have enjoyed your posts, and love and respect you now.
