I don't buy that some strange force caused your friend's cell phone to dial your house.  She had to have accidentally pushed something that caused your number to dial.  There's no other possible explanation,

I only have a tracfone, nothing else, i get calls,just do not answer .

@Annabellethecat66 : Tried to reply post earlier and received some strange message. Received two more calls this morning within 30 minutes. Called my cable provider and they now have available the robocall blocking and added to my phone and gave the phone number for the federal trade commission to report current issues. I already have a Panasonic phone with call block plus the call blocker with the big red button. Southern Bee

@SouthernBee  Thanks for the info.  I’ll call the FCC as soon as I get a chance and tell them the 2 instances that happened!

It’s the last one with my friend that never dialed my number nor did her cell phone show it had the line open.

Just think...I could have listened to everything going on in her house and she wouldn’t have even known it!

@SouthernBee  Forgot to say also when I’m on my IPad ( like now) I’m usually at the other end of my house and it acts wonky...

I also typed in a post and it just wouldn’t go thru....

I told my family even with a BOOSTER on the WiFi, it still doesn’t work well on the iPad at this end of the house!

It’s not like I’m in another freaking state, only the other end of the house.

Verizon says “ You are going thru the kitchen...yes, that’s it!”  Ha!

@Annabellethecat66 : Last month called cable company with WiFi issues. They replaced our modem with newer version and opted for whole house WiFi coverage. Southern Bee

i had had a small one with the keyboard but gave it to my daughter, so I’m buying me a new one.

If the new one isn’t good, I’ll have them come over and check it out.

Ghosting —the practice of ending a personal relationship with someone by suddenly and without explanation withdrawing from all communication.

What Annabelle is describing when you receive a call & it shows your number on the Caller ID is called ‘spoofing’. 

Calls that show your area code & 3 digit prefix are called ‘neighborhood spoofed’ calls. Spammer/scammers think you are more likely to pick up and answer if your Caller ID is showing a call coming from your local area.
