we watched our 4 1/2 year old grandson tonight.

He and I were discussing the fun we had tonight...hide and seek, racing and digging in the garden.

He said Grandma did we have fun? (spelling "fun" in scabble tiles)

I said, "Yes, it was more fun than a barrel of monkeys" 

It cracked him up!  everything was then  "a barrel of monkeys"

I'm also the grandma that said "whoops-a-daisy"  also a big hit!

That's so cute!!!  Our grandson just turned 3, and is at the point when you can carry on a conversation with him...which is a lot of fun.

We hadn't seen him in two weeks.  Usually we see him, and his baby sister, a couple of times a week.  When he got here, he ran and gave me a big hug and said "I missed you guys."  And, he looked like he teared up.

Grandbabies are THE BEST!!!

ahh the memories of my grandchildren when they were that age.

They gro up so fast.

Being a Grandparent is a true blessing! 

You think you can't love anyone as much as your kids. Then you have Grands.   You fall in love all over again.

I always tell my husband that I love them so much that it feels like my heart is going to explode!
