Forgiveness frees the heart and moves us from the victim to the one who

is in control of our lives. Lord, forgive us our trespasses as we forgive

those who trespass against us.

Scripture for the day:

"O LORD, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; we are

all the work of your hand." ~Isaiah 64:8

Meditation for the day:

I believe that the future is in God's hands. God knows better than I what

the future holds for me. I am not at the mercy of fate or buffeted about by

life. I am being led in a very definite way, as I try to rebuild my life. I

am the builder, but God is the architect. It is mine to follow God's

guidance and to build as best I can.

Prayer for the day:

I pray that I may depend on God, since God has a plan for my life. I pray

that I may live my life as I believe God wants me to live it.

Hello my friends! Today was a good day - wonderful Mass for Epiphany - very

good homily, and soon after Mass we had cards here with a couple ladies from

our card club - We won again! It was very enjoyable - one lady we just met,

both are very nice and enjoyable to be with. Then Lori called and invited

us to come there for Supper which she made a good African Peanut butter

soup - it's very good and had chicken in it - very tasty, she even put in

some salsa. She loves to cook, especially soups! She is getting ready for

her trip to Sedona now - leaves Tuesday morning. After supper we played

some bowling on her Wii machine and that was fun! Every day there are great

blessings from Our Lord - just look around - they are there! I'm forever

grateful for my husband, my house, and my family. Praying for all of you,

thanks for your prayers for us.

Mother Teresa's Rules & Beliefs to incorporate

The dying, the cripple, the mental, the unwanted, the unloved they are Jesus

in disguise.

Little things are indeed little, but to be faithful in little things is a

great thing.

It is not how much we do, but how much love we put in the doing. It is not

how much we give, but how much love we put in the giving.

Nakedness is not only for a piece of clothing; nakedness is lack of human

dignity, and also that beautiful virtue of purity, and lack of that respect

for each other.

There is a terrible hunger for love. We all experience that in our lives -

the pain, the loneliness. We must have the courage to recognize it. The poor

you may have right in your own family. Find them. Love them.

Before you speak, it is necessary for you to listen, for God speaks in the

silence of the heart.

Speak tenderly to them. Let there be kindness in your face, in your eyes, in

your smile, in the warmth of your greeting. Always have a cheerful smile.

Don't only give your care, but give your heart as well.

The more you have, the more you are occupied, the less you give. But the

less you have the more free you are. Poverty for us is a freedom. It is not

a mortification, a penance. It is joyful freedom. There is no television

here, no this, no that. But we are perfectly happy.

If you are humble nothing will touch you, neither praise nor disgrace,

because you know what you are.

Do not allow yourselves to be disheartened by any failure as long as you

have done your best.

There is only one God and He is God to all; therefore it is important that

everyone is seen as equal before God. I've always said we should help a

Hindu become a better Hindu, a Muslim become a better Muslim, a Catholic

become a better Catholic.

If we really want to love we must learn how to forgive.

It is a poverty to decide that an unborn child must die so that you may live

as you like.

If we pray, we will believe; If we believe, we will love; If we love, we

will serve.

We can do no great things; only small things with great love.

You and I, we are the Church, no? We have to share with our people.

Suffering today is because people are hoarding, not giving, not sharing.

Jesus made it very clear. Whatever you do to the least of my brethren, you

do it to me. Give a glass of water, you give it to me. Receive a little

child, you receive me. Clear.

Only in heaven will we see how much we owe to the poor for helping us to

love God better because of them.

Make us worthy, Lord, to serve those people throughout the world who live

and die in poverty and hunger. Give them through our hands, this day, their

daily bread, and by our understanding love, give them peace and joy.

Give me courage.

I must do something.

Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us

begin.

Let's do something beautiful for God.

I HAVE MOVED!

Can't remember if I told you all, but:

I have moved out from 1 Beggars Alley, located at 2 Poverty Lane at

the corner of Bleak and Buster Circle. As of today, I have a brand new

home.

My new address is: Living Well on 3 Abundance Drive, located at the

corner of Blessings Street and Prosperity Peak. No longer! will I

allow my self to travel on Begging Peter to pay off Paul route,

located at a dead end intersection called I Don't Have, it connects

with Borrowers Junction.

I no longer hang out at Failure's Place, near Excuses Avenue, next to

Procrastination Point. I've moved on to an Upscale community called

Higher Heights with unlimited potential and opportunities for me to

succeed.

Look at me. Each day that I'm awake, I am thankful to be a product of

my new environment. All my clothes are tailor made. I'm dressed in

life's finest. Let me introduce you to all of them: Divine Favour,

Conceive, Believe, Act on Faith, Be Persistent, and Always be Prepared

to Achieve.

Life is good because God is good! Care to change your address? There

are many vacancies!

GREAT IS THY FAITHFULNESS

I AM WELL BLESSED AND SO ARE YOU!!!!!

'DON'T TELL GOD HOW BIG YOUR STORM IS, TELL YOUR STORM HOW BIG OUR GOD IS'

Why Things Happen As They Do

Why things happen as they do

We do not always know,

And we cannot always fathom,

Why our spirits sink so low...

We flounder in our dark distress,

We are wavering and unstable,

But when we're most inadequate

The Lord God is always able....

For though we are incapable,

God is powerful and great,

And there's no darkness of the mind

That God can't penetrate....

And all that is required of us

Whenever things go wrong

Is to trust in God implicitly

With a faith that's deep and strong.

And while He may not instantly

Unravel all the strands

Of the tangled thoughts that trouble us

He completely understands....

And in His time, if we have faith

He will gradually restore

The brightness to our spirit

That we've been longing for....

So remember, there's no cloud too dark

For God's light to penetrate

If we keep on believing

And have faith enough to wait!

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who

love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

TO MY CHILD . . .

Just for this morning, I am going to smile when I see your face and laugh

when I feel like crying.

Just for this morning, I will let you choose what you want to wear, and

smile and say how perfect it is.

Just for this morning, I am going to step over the laundry, and pick you up

and take you to the park to play.

Just for this morning, I will leave the dishes in the sink, and let you

teach me how to put that puzzle of yours together.

Just for this afternoon, I will unplug the telephone and keep the computer

off, and sit with you in the backyard and blow bubbles.

Just for this afternoon, I will not yell once, not even a tiny grumble when

you scream and whine for the ice cream truck, and I will buy you one if he

comes by.

Just for this afternoon, I won't worry about what you are going to be when

you grow up, or second-guess every decision I have made where you are

concerned.

Just for this afternoon, I will let you help me bake cookies, and I won't

stand over you trying to fix them.

Just for this afternoon, I will take us to McDonald's and buy us both a

Happy Meal so you can have both toys.

Just for this evening, I will hold you in my arms and tell you a story about

how you were born and how much I love you.

Just for this evening, I will let you splash in the tub and not get angry.

Just for this evening, I will let you stay up late while we sit on the porch

and count all the stars.

Just for this evening, I will snuggle beside you for hours, and miss my

favorite TV shows.

Just for this evening when I run my finger through your hair as you pray,

I will simply be grateful that God has given me the greatest gift ever

given.

I will think about the mothers and fathers who are searching for their

missing children; the mothers and fathers who are visiting their children's

graves instead of their bedrooms; and mothers and fathers who are in

hospital rooms watching their children suffer senselessly, and screaming

inside they can't handle it anymore.

And when I kiss you goodnight I will hold you a little tighter, a little

longer. It is then, that I will thank God for you, and ask him for nothing,

except one more day.

Epiphany Prayer

Dear Jesus, as You led the Three Kings to You by the light of a star, please

draw us ever closer to You by the light of Faith. Help us to desire You as

ardently as they did. Give us the grace to overcome all the obstacles that

keep us far from You. May we, like them, have something to give You when we

appear before You. Mary, Our Mother, help us to know Your Son. Amen.

Blessed Be

Blessed be life

I tell you it's good to be alive

Blessed is she who bore me and tenderly nurtured me

Blessed is the fruitful seed in the womb

Blessed is the growing embryo destined to be born this Day

Blessed is every child of God come to full term

Blessed are all the children of the universe

Blessed is every Mother who brings her baby to birth

Blessed be every Father who supports bone of his bone-flesh of his flesh

Blessed be every doctor who refuses to abort life, but seeks to save life

Blessed be the miracle of LIFE and the God of LIFE who provides for every

living creature

Blessed be the Virgin Mary who did not refuse to bear the Son of God

Blessed be the Lord Jesus who did not despise being a fetus in the sanctuary

of the Womb.
