Avoid using the words 'If only...' and 'I should have...'. These can destroy
your peace of mind and even your health. Lord, help me to stop punishing
myself for past mistakes and live in the peace of the present.

Meditation for the day
I can work for God, with God and through God's help. By helping to bring
about a true fellowship of human beings, I am working for God.
I am also working with God because this is the way God works, and God is
with
me when I am doing such work. I cannot do good work, however, without God's
help. In the final analysis, it is through the grace of God that any real
change in human personality takes place. I can rely on God's power, and
anything I accomplish is through God's help.
Prayer for the day:
I pray that I may work for God and with God. I pray that I may be used to
change human personalities through God's help.
Hello my friends! Today we are snowed in! We got about 10 or more inches
and it's still snowing yet. My dear husband did plow us out, and our
neighbor's driveway (they have moved out and asked us to plow it for them),
but no use taking the car out because it's still snowing and the roads are
bad so it's best to stay put. Really felt bad we had to miss Mass and
tonight our Marian Retreat - which is the last night for it. I heard that
Darla is out raking leaves! What a difference in temps. I don't have much
to say tonight so remember that you all are in my prayers daily, and thanks
for praying for us! God bless you all and grant you a great week!

When life is good and I'm ok,
my prayers go down to few .
But if I'm in need or having trouble,
I stop, I turn, and then I seek You.
Why can't I remember to pray,
during life's normal daily race.
Why must I suffer some misery,
before I turn and seek Your face?
I know I owe you everything,
you've taken special care of me.
I'm the one that is neglecting
the love you give so free.
When I forget the time to pray,
the guilt spreads over me.
I really feel You miss me too,
my time on bended knee.
But how can it be possible,
You miss our relationship?
With so many that worship you,
what value am I to Your Lordship?
Jesus, I know not what I am to you,
or why You value me.
I just know You paid the price,
when You hung upon that tree.
My faith restored, You take me in
Your arms of strength and grace.
Forgiveness is what You do,

Mary’s Dream
I had a dream, Joseph.
I don’t understand it, but I think it was about a birthday celebration for
our son.
The people in my dream had been preparing for about six weeks.
They had decorated the house and bought new clothes.
They’d gone shopping many times and bought many elaborate gifts.
It was peculiar, though, because the presents weren’t for our son.
They wrapped them in beautiful paper and stacked them under a tree.
Yes, a tree, Joseph, right inside their homes! They’d decorated the tree
with sparkling ornaments.
There was a figure like an angel on the top of the tree.
Everyone was laughing and happy.
They gave the gifts to each other, Joseph, not to our son.
I don’t think they even knew him.
They never mentioned his name.
I had the strangest feeling that, if our Jesus had gone to this celebration
he would have been intruding.
How sad for someone not to be wanted at his own birthday party!
I’m glad it was only a dream. How terrible Joseph, if it had been real!’

Our Father, may everything I do begin with Your
