Butterfly weed is not  the butterfly bush, take a look at butterfly weed,there is wild,also small plants you can buy,i would think them in a pot would do good,lots of sun.

 

When you lose some one you L~O~V~E, that Memory of them, becomes a TREASURE.

I have seen monarch butterflies last year but not yet this year. Its still early for them in Rhode Island. We see other butterflies allso.
