You know Molly's pancreas is totally non-functioning so with each meal she has
been taking Pancrezyme (mixed with water) in powder form with each meal to give
her the necessary digestive enzymes. For an 8 oz. bottle of the powder it was
$162 from my Vet. Well, I found in Drs. Foster and Smith catalog that they
have it for considerably less! And ..... the best part is .... they have it in
tablet form! WHOO-HOO! So, I called my Vet. and he was willing to FAX them
an Rx for the med. in tablet form, which I got the other day! Since I'm not
mixing that icky powder (made from pig's pancreas), there is no more smell at
all with her. I washed all her bedding, gave her a bath and she smells just
like she should - a normal dog! I can't tell you how happy I am with this ....
it is so much easier and there is no putrid odor!

Right now Molly is enclosed in my foyer (again) with pee pads. She absolutely
refuses to go outside because of the snow. The sidewalk is clear, but
alongside of the sidewalk are about 4 ft. of snow, so she can't get to any
grass. So, til she decides to go, she's in the foyer. I hate doing this to
her, but I don't want her to pee on the rug again, she's done enough of that.
She's giving me that pitiful look, which makes me feel really badly, but it has
to be.
