Missouri River flooding ?

Anyone one close to the Mo. river outside of Kansas City. I used to live in Camden, Mo. & went to school in Richmond. The river bottoms where friends used to live is now just used for farming. It's very rich soil but it looks so strange when I go back there & don't see any houses in the bottoms. The river changed course over a hundred years ago, before that show boats used to come close to the front street.

Hope the people living along the Mo.river don't experience too much flooding.
