I'm just happy we have as many as we do. It saddens me when some posters try to insert their politics, thereby causing threads to get contentious, or worse, closed. This is a perk QVC gives us, and I'm grateful to have the opportunity to chat with the group that remains.

It is always a guessing game when a person just vanishes from a community, perhaps they passed on and the family had no idea that we even exist-or they don't have the password to get on to the board nor know how to use it. Any number of things can happen to cause a person to not post, illness, too busy or even just needing a break. It's different here because we have no way to reach out to an individual like most boards have.

@We rescue cats - ITA! I really enjoy posting with my online friends, and I've grown to really care for them. I share with them just as I share with my IRL friends - sometimes more.

DD has instructions to let everyone here know if something happens to me and I can no longer be part of this wonderful group.

i tend to be the same way.

i "miss" posters also, but i remember that there are a myriad of reasons why they go missing......the most important one being "LIFE." life gets in the way sometimes.
