Unfortunately, she has been murdered.
Her two week old baby is safe.
It was one of her friends who strangled her, killing her, and the body was found in the trunk of the (alleged) murders car.
According to NBC Nightly News, the murderer, was "pregnant" and was "due" at the same time that the victim was, and was even registered for baby gifts.

Anom.:
Such a horrible end to a seemingly beautiful life.
My heart sunk for this young lady's family, how terrible for all of them.
A grotesque murder ...glad the responsible woman is apprehended.
The world is less and less humane every day.

Such a tragedy.
I feel for her little boy, and the baby girl. Growing up without their Mom.
I hope the person(s) responsible are punished severely.

Very sad unfortunate ending.
Had been following, hoping both would be somehow o.k.
Heard on news that the baby is in foster care, odd, not sure
why.

Sounds like a Lifetime Chanel movie.

I could not even watch this story on the news as it is so tragic and unfair.
Not the first time one woman has killed another due to desiring her baby.
Some people are truly unwell.

Because this is a murder investigation, the baby cannot just be returned to the father, or any other family member, until police are sure of who did what.

From the Sacremento Bee:
Authorities said the baby found at the house looked like Broussard's child but were still awaiting DNA tests. The baby was described as being found “healthy” and placed in the custody of Texas Child Protective Services.
They're waiting verify the baby's identity. @threecees

I think the “ fiancé” is being looked at....I recall when she first went missing, he was slow to report her and the baby missing...and when he sobbed to the tv cameras that he wanted her back safely...not once did he mention his then two-week old baby....how could you fail to even mention your newborn as well?
The news here said the 8 year old son and the baby had been “reunited with the family”....surely it was the grandmother...and not the “ fiancé. Not sure he is the 8 year old’s father.

I was sure the boyfriend was responsible.,,when they showed him supposedly crying it looked so fake, and he never raised his eyes...avoiding looking as he spoke.
That was my perception....guess if he was involved it will come out. Hopefully he wasn't.
