It’s sad to realize that Dan Hughes won’t be here to help with our Christmas shopping and decorating this year. Holiday shopping without him is sad this year. I always enjoyed when he and his Bethlehem lights buddies would regale us with nostalgic conversation and humor. He is missed

I miss Dan also.  I had watched him since he and Pat were on together in the mornings.  He also did Nascar shows with Dale Earnhardt Sr.  What a pleasure to see them together!

Dan was my favorite hoasts. He always explained how home type devices worked. I miss him too. I think QVC made a bad choice to let him go.

He was my favorite male host.  And agree, he and Pat were a good team.

🎄 Dan was QVC's own Mr. Christmas.

You could hear the magic and excitement in his voice whenever he talked about decorating his farm for Christmas. It was his time of the year to shine. Proud husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother (and pet owner) the perfect blend of Norman Rockwell and Mr. Rogers.

Yes Dan, we'd love to be your neighbor.

QVC without Dan is like Christmas without a tree.

I follow Dan on FB & he's a joy. There is no one like him.

I watch the QVC TV presentations very rarely, but when I caught them, Dan was a favorite.  Surprised that QVC would let go a consummate professional, and one who had a warm authenticity.  Dan was informative, and a friendly, often funny presence.  Unforced and natural.  Those qualities seem to be hard to come by in sales personnel, clearly, so QVC's actions are baffling.

I heard Carolyn's voice on a video when I was looking at some Denim & Co things yesterday. It must have been a long time ago when the tops were presented. Made me both happy and sad to hear her voice. I miss both of them. Was such a bad decision to lose Dan and Carolyn.
