I understand the concept of trying to reach as many people as possible but he should have kept the fundraising for the jet private imho.

I agree with you and Cakers. I just think people have choices on how to spend their money and we should be wise enough to see who is a Charlatan with time. Now if he writes books etc and earns the money himself...I have no problem... but using the emotions and goodness of people then... I find it reprehensible.

That's all I'm going to argue about here.
I rest my case. Your above statement speaks the kind of gospel you have been listening too. That is why we need men like Creflo Dollar.

Yes, you do.
TaxyLady, you said " I bet that he gives even more than he receives. That is why he is so wealthy."
You must be kidding. Just because this man has people who give him $$$ doesn't mean that God is blessing him --- there are NUMEROUS people in this world, who live lives of luxury and opulence, and they couldn't care LESS about God. Just because someone is wealthy doesn't mean they are doing the work of the Lord. Look at all the drug kingpins and sheiks in Dubai, etc., do you think God is blessing them?
Lots of evil, rotten people have $$$$$.
I can't believe anyone falls for this type of thing.

When was the last time you attended a Mass? Certainly never because you would know that the Gospel is preached.
The Catholic Church was exposed for the cover-up but that doesn't mean that every priest, every parishioner, took part.
It's very easy to spout off the Gospel; it's quite another to actually put the words of Christ into action, too. How much of Creflo's $$ actually goes to those in need? You don't need to "jet" around the world to spread the Gospel. It's been spread for centuries without all the glitz and glamour.
Seriously.
At some point in the past the ministry made their financial report public, from what I remember I saw no irregularities. I don't think they do that any more, but many ministries have purchased their own transportation to accommodate their speaking engagements, his isn't the first.

I agree. That is why I do not donate to religions who are not spreading the complete gospel of Christ but rather establishing a social meeting place or preaching some other gospel of mankind. I know the scripture and Creflo Dollar is a great teacher of God's word. I know God is blessing his ministry, just like he has blessed me for supporting those that are going into the world. I am not a goer, but I can be a supporter. What he does with the money is not my concern as long as he keeps teaching and people are getting saved. The money is between him and Jesus. I would never speak badly of Creflo or anyone spreading the Good News because to persecute Creflo (who is preaching the Word) is also persecuting Christ who sent him.

I don't know that she has a jet but Christ has blessed her just as much as Creflo Dollar. Isn't it wonderful to see these wonderful teachers so blessed.

They don't own one, but they do lease one. I only know because I get her magazine.
