I read today that cow milk consumption is down 30% from 1975. Non-dairy milk (rice, soy, almond, etc.) is up 16%.
I know I hardly ever buy cow milk anymore. It is much harder on my stomach and just generally makes me feel like <a href="mailto:cr@pppp">cr@pppp</a>.
The dairy industry is going to start marketing cow milk as "real" and the other stuff (soy, almond, rice) as "imitation milk." I guess we'll see if that works.
