Oh, gosh I've done similar things.  Like looking for my glasses and they are on top of head.

And I remember visiting my nephew's house and accidentally picking up his cell phone and putting in my purse when I departed.  His girlfriend called me on my cell  asking if I had his phone, I told didn't think I had it.  Told her to dial his phone, sure enough I had his phone.  I was so embarrassed.

Did you ever go into "panic" mode when you can't find something and start tearing the house apart?  I've done that before I reached old age.

Yes, he passed away last spring.  I think OP may have spotted an old headline and not realized it.

Mickey Rooney died in April of 2014.

Facts should  be investigated before being spread all over.

I actually meant to say the spring of last year.  But thank goodness you were here to set us all straight!  Because heaven knows how this misinformation could have affected our lives not one iotaGrinning Face With Smiling Eyes

Oh I'm famous for those moves @Allegheny!!!  The other day I was distracted and put the soda bottle in the microwave instead of back in the fridge.  Hellooo!  Thank goodness I'm not so far gone (yet) that I turned it on.  ka-boom!!  Smiling Face With Open Mouth and Tightly-Closed Eyes

@Mary in MO... I  knew he had married a few times, but didn't realize he was married 8 times. I cannot even imagine having the energy of having 8 relationships.

Didn't he have a very sad ending?  I thought he was a victim of elder abuse.

I remember reading that too @Bestdressed.  A sad ending indeed for a person who brought so much laughter into the lives of others.  Remember when he guest starred on The Golden Girls as Rocco, the would-be bank robber?  He was a hysterical partner-in-crime to Estelle Getty's Sophia!  Smiling Face With Open Mouth and Smiling Eyes

I didn't know he wasn't with us, either. Two of my favorites and big losses I think and both suicidal were Phillip Seymore Hoffman and Robin Williams.

Two GREAT actors of our time.  RIP PSH & RW.

No comment as to the OP.

Don't feel bad Marymary we all have days like this. I sure could name a few. Couldn't all of us at one time or another?
