The Michael's near us still has a row of cashiers.

I am really glad to see The Dollar Tree has mostly self check outs now. The line goes so much faster!

It's just as well. Their cashiers were slower than molasses. You could fall asleep waiting for them to do their thing.

I saw that at our local Michael's recently. I was kind of surprised as many other local retailers here are pulling the self check's out of the store.

@on the bay I was at our DollarTree yesterday buying gift bags for Christmas presents. There are no self checkouts but the cashier checking out on the line I was in was super fast.

The lady in line before me had at least 100 items to check out it went fast.

The cashier told me he had a woman earlier who spent $300. That is sure alot of items at $1.25 each.

I agree they are usually pretty fast. I think it's also faster though with self check-out maybe because they have room for more registers.

Yeah, I cannot imagine at all getting $300 worth from Dollar Tree!

I was there around Thanksgiving. They had a bank of self-checkout and also a counter of full service. Worked great. Much faster. The people with price checks and coupons went to the full service and the rest of us were in and out.

lol, the last time I was at the Dollar Tree there was only one checkout open. Just my luck, I was behind a lady who must've owned a restaurant or something because she purchased more mugs, vases & glasses than I've ever seen. AND EACH ONE HAD TO BE WRAPPED, ugh 😩

Someone who was with her brought boxes in from the car to keep loading the items in. The wait was excruciating 😣
