Sorry I don't forgive or respect him.

If that sounds harsh, oh well. It's not as harsh as having jumper cables hooked to your body and thrown into a swimming pool.

What if they did that to him when he doesn't play well?

You mean like he did to those dogs...? Well then, problem solved, given his apparent prowess on the field... based on which, I don't get why teams continue to hire him... He contributes very little on the field and just serves to drag down the public perception of any team he's on.

I think he is saying those things so people will forgive him. I don't believe he is truly sorry.

I don't know him, but I agree.  It is not up to me to forgive or not to forgive, but this is not something that was at a party that he participated in a couple of times and then woke up.  He was doing this for years as sport.  What kind of heart does that take.  To inflict that kind of pain and hear those poor animals yelping. Just plain evil.  Whether you love and care about animals doesn't matter, they are living beings.  All they do is want to be loved.  Don't we all.

Well following your flawed logic, all the people attending the fights and gambling should die too right?

You're a good soul!

Unfortunately w/ the past history of this particular poster, @italia8140,

I have a feeling it's going to fall on deaf ears.

Not a lot of 'Merry'.

Not a lot of 'Christ'.

But a lot of 'mas' (Spanish, no accent = 'but'.  Add a t, if you want).

He couldn't care less whether people forgive him, he's all about the Benjamins and just wants to keep making money.

Just because I refuse to forgive some people (including Vick) who've committed heinous acts against the innocent and defenseless (whether they be human or animals), doesn't mean I don't have the capacity to forgive at all.

And I can live with the fact that you have more respect for Vick than you do for me, since I choose not to forgive HIM.
