You never know...BIL and his wife went to Super Bowl XLV in Dallas. OK, it wasn't that cold, but there was a terrible ice storm which made traveling to activities and the game miserable.

Locations are picked years in advance and other factors besides weather are considered. There is no way to predict what weather will be like any given weekend.

Perhaps games should be played only in covered stadiums only where the temperatures are usually more moderate, however would this really be fair?

It is a balmy 12 degree here.

Hi Caravaggio, Smiley Happy

We got about 8 inches. Yep, a balmy 12 here too.

Stay warm.

If I hear one more sports announcer say.....The SB is being played in NY this year.... I will scream. NO! It is being played in Jersey.

thank you JERSEY!!!! SmileWink

lets bring it down to baltimore one year? maybe if it is a success there they will be choosing other outdoor stadiums.

we are up to 14 degrees and our wind chill is at about -7.....but it sure is sunny and pretty! {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

And to think, people are paying up to $500K for the pleasure of sitting in the cold. I'll happy watch in my warm living room on tv. Hopefully the weather will warm up before the SB.

The only people there are true fans of the 2 teams and people on expense accounts!

Not true, there are football fanatics who happen to love the game, no matter who is playing.

Really? I thought it was in NY. Oops. Why do people keep saying it's in NY?

Can you tell I'm not a true football fan?

Ahhh, makes sense. Thank you. I did just Google the stadium and discovered that's where the NYC teams play. That is probably another reason.

Yes that too. We get the teams and NY gets the recognition. It is actually a nice stadium to go to. Easy to get to get to, but it will be very cold. Since our local stations here in NJ come out of NY. The fact that the game is played in NJ kinda gets lost even here. So don't feel bad that you were not aware. Smile
